Amazing colour in those cliffs. If that tree trunk did not look so natural I would be checking my monitor calibration.

Ha, I almost hear an audible "sproing!" when I see these patented, Limited "3-D" images. Very nice capture.

That image gives me a two sense deprivation... I want to both smell and feel the breeze there, a cracking image to evoke other senses like that, well done.

Bruce, I always get good results using the 43mm ltd, my favorite lens for color and clarity especially landscapes.

Yet another great image. The blue sky in the background really pops. And the detail on that tree trunk is amazing. Really stands out from the canyon in the background.

thanks so much for the kind review. I used several combinations with the K3 and K5 this trip and it seems either camera with the 43mm produced great results. I think I'll keep it.

thanks for the kind review, lots of tourists there during our trip so I'm not so sure about the smell you speak of.

when I uploaded the photo the first thing I noticed was the tree detail, then the canyon walls which are more than 10 miles from this point really stood out also, so I felt I had a good capture. Thanks so much for viewing and commenting, much appreciated.

Great pic, bud - I feel like I could reach out and touch that tree. Also, this is a very creative way to depict the Grand Canyon.
