starjedi - I don't know where you got the 10X magnification idea, I didn't make any claims about that. As far as ratio goes, I don't think I ever got up to 1:1, I think the most extension tubes I used was 75mm on the 135mm lens, that was the dragonfly shot. Don't know what the ratio is, I don't worry about that I just try to get decent pictures...Other shots used 30mm or 50mm of extension tubes.

Lizard, I think this was with around 30mm of exctension tubes, bnut may have been 50mm, I can't remember...one of the few lizard macros I've tried this summer..
Spicebush Swallowtail butterfly that decided to sit still and let me get close, I think this one was 50mm extension tubes on the same 135mm lens. All taken with flash, by the way
