parting clouds brings some interesting colors to the sand at the Great Sand Dunes NP in Colorado.

An interesting and oddly relaxing scene, brother Bob. A refreshingly different sort of landscape.

thanks Jerry, my wife says she would like to redo the motorhome interior and use these colors. This may have been an expensive trip to view the dunes.

there's 30 sq. miles of dunes out here, some up to 800 foot tall

That third guy from the right looks like lawrence of Arabia............or is that his cousin?

We are heading back there this summer and I can't wait. Some of the best sunsets to be had. Last time we climbed to the top of the dune - don't think I'll give it a go this time. Killer hike.

Susan as I've aged, I think hiking like this is just like Trix..........for kids. Have fun and take lots of pics.
