A few shots from this morning's ramble with my K5/K28 3.5 combination--it's very humbling to learn just how hard it is to take a picture of a tree (Lesson #1, the sky is not your friend)--but there were a few scenes that caught my eye.

I've found that GREEN is not my friend! I don't know why but I always have a hard time rendering green in a pleasing manner. I envy those who post these magnificent photos of greenery in such a glorious manner. It seems as if it's usually with a 28mm lens, too. Nice work, CB.

Ha, thanks--I think this particular "K" seems to find a lot more yellow than some lenses I've seen, which seems to open things up a bit...I can imagine shooting, say, conifers under y'all's bluebird skies would be a challenge with a cooler lens. We've got some of that vegetation type up high in what we call the "balsam zone"--our spruce/firs start at about 4500 feet--but I've been too lazy to hike up that high this summer to see how the lens does.

Glad you liked it...a bit greener than your AO in the Desert Southwest, no doubt.

Glad you liked it--I'm afraid PP is still rather a chuck-and-chance-it affair for me; the level of care the real pros bring to the initial image(s) is really an education.

Wow... very green and dense in there, it's got me going for camo gear to hide unnoticed.

I suppose, with the BAOR defunct and no plans (I'm assuming) of y'all re-invading Malaysia...unfortunately, it looks as if squaddies will find a use for "wadi-wear" for the foreseeable future.
