True, but you should have stopped down a bit. That DOF is outrageous!

Join the club. It's not just the colours - the sharpness, the contrast, the bokeh.... I couldn't rave enough about this humble lens.

Your capture shows how shallow you can go with DOF on this lens. Only that tiny thread of grass is sharp - hard to do any other way...

Yes, the sharpness is simply amazing.

This is cropped at 100%. No PP except for a little exposure adjustment.

Yep, it's a fun lens and dangerously sharp with razor thin DOF to match. Here's a recent test pic taken with mine.
