Tramp Harbor
Lens: Pentax 8.5mm Camera:ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/180s Aperture: F3.5

October is fantasy landscape shooting season in Puget Sound with ever changing weather patterns. This scene forced me to depart my Vespa on my manic ride to the ferry dock. Fortunately the Q was easy to pull out of my pocket.

Unfortunately, the 8.5mm lens wasn't quite wide enough to do the scene full justice, so I ended up using my iPhone 5s camera which I'm glad for. After posting the shot below on a local Facebook page, I've already sold several print preorders without intending to. Once again, the best camera is the one you have with you. Plus, I made my ferry!

Aye, it's bailed me out on the odd occasion too, but don't tell anyone.

Beauty of a shot! From Vashon I presume, since Google says you have a Tramp Harbor up there Looking south(ish)?

Thank you.
I think I can squeeze out a decent 8x10, maybe even an 11x14.

Thanks much Lori. I just about always have some kind of camera on my person or in my Vespa.
