Shooting from the hip
Lens: 18-250 lens Camera: k5 Photo Location: Saugus Ma. ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F9.5

Walking by the kitchen window I had time for one shot with the 18-250 Pentax lens at 250mm.Sometimes being lucky is a good thing.--charliezap

Capn, you were quick on the draw, indeed. Great job and quick thinking. We have a resident woodpecker I've tried to photograph effectively . . . . . . . but alas my efforts have been in vain. So, my hat's off to you!
