Walking by the kitchen window I had time for one shot with the 18-250 Pentax lens at 250mm.Sometimes being lucky is a good thing.

Capn, you were quick on the draw, indeed. Great job and quick thinking. We have a resident woodpecker I've tried to photograph effectively . . . . . . . but alas my efforts have been in vain. So, my hat's off to you!

I moved my laptop to the kitchen table and window that looks out to the feeder.My camera is by my side so when they come I'm ready.
