Petrol Bowser Graveyard - "Rust In Peace"

I won this lens in a competition and finally got it changed from CANON mount to Pentax. "What you don't shoot CANON ?"

I took it for a spin and these pics are more a test than anything else. I must say I am pleasantly surprised with the IQ the lens produces. A pretty good performer for those occasions when you don't want to schlep around a lot of gear.

Very nice set of images. I used to love the the smell of gasoline especially "High Test" which probably explains why I'm still a gearhead (motorhead)!

Great images of what I guess to be a collection worth an appreciable sum these days, with the number of collectors about for these.

You are not wrong, but I guess for a man like you with independent means these prices are a mere bagatelle.

I am really surprised how well this Sigma super zoom performs. Had I not won this thing I would have never bothered to try one. But now I can see me using it more often for those occasions when you don't want to come home with a hernia from schlepping around a lot of gear.

Indeed, it's getting them in the hand luggage for the trip home could be a problem.
