Best Commute in the World
Lens: 18-135 Camera: K3 Photo Location: Puget Sound, WA ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/750s Aperture: F8

Just an everyday Tuesday, on the way home,
My ferry got slowed by some "other marine traffic" as the captain put it.

Always carry a camera,
Never know what is around the next corner,

The breaching sequence is only about 5% of the frame, nice to have a bunch of pixels

Very nicely captured! Always a delight to encounter our marine cousins...

That's pretty good, but I'd have to say that the Larkspur Ferry commute to SF rivals this one for scenery (but not for wildlife....).

An unexpected treat on the way home (or to work). Good you had your camera and not a smart phone!

So glad you were in the right place, at the right time, with the right equipment.

Amazing! Wildlife in the big city.

I work at several locations, but one in particular has a very nice drive home:

Thanks to all for the kind words,

One of my friends on the boat was standing next to me with her iPhone, as I banged away (only medium continuous) she commented that it at least sounded like I knew what I was doing.
Of course she posted her's faster, but hard to tell what the dot in the frame is.
