Oak Creek Canyon, Arizona

Image 2 really does it for me, too. Can/should one swim there?

You could do a swim there against the rock wall. Farther up the creek, several miles is Slippery Rock - its a state park that is famous for swimming.

We too here in Aridizona have areas that we are told - and even posted, to not venture into. Especially down in the south. Then there is Tombstone, AZ - the town too tough to die.

I really like the first two images. In the first one I like how the rocks are positioned in the river - quantity, and not too submerged. Makes a bunch of waterfall-like sections

Interesting angles and vantage points for all these shots. Definitely different from the "put the tripod in the middle of the stream and take a shot" motif
