A new edit of a highland meadow in the Landmannalaugar area of south central Iceland. Many of my pictures from that trip have gone through 3-4 generations of editing.

Now that's downright beautiful. The tonal variations and subtleties are simply outstanding!

Wow, that just looks like an oil painting.

You will not upset me further by going there, as Iceland's already on the bucket list.

One of my favorite locations in Iceland. We did a 15k walk on the day we were there. Ten Hours and 950 images later we retuned to our camp. This was the only night we got the Northern Lights too. Cheers JIM

That is a very nice rendition. There is nothing quite like going through old photos and editing them again with new ideas and techniques.

Thanks Jer! Maybe I finally got it right this time! Although I'm sure I'll try again when I switch from Aperture to Lightroom.... eventually.

Hey, Scotland's no slouch either! Hope to get there next summer!

This was the highlight of our trip. My son and I did a 2 mile loop through the area while the womenfolk did some horseback riding. A pretty incredible walk, although I sure wish I'd packed a heavier coat.

Thanks Bruce! Couldn't agree more. I just cringe looking at how I did this originally. When I first started out I was really into HDR and special effects filters etc. Tastes and techniques both change so it definitely pays off to revisit favorite old pictures from time to time.

So green and barren. Interesting colors.
