Ronald Reagan kept a jar of jelly beans on his desk. Jelly Belly sent 10,000 lbs of red, white and blue jelly beans to the Republican national convention, and have a lot of his memorabilia at the factory.

They ship all over the world, and also make chocolate things, and candy korn, etc.

The jelly bean rejects that are too small, too big, misshapen or joined are called "belly flops". I'm told they are sold in the gift shop so no doubt you can probably get some :-)

Those free tours run about every 15 minutes, up to 50 or so people. During peak times it can be an hour wait. Mine was on a Thursday morning, with a smaller group and essentially no extra wait.
