Halloween

Halloween at the high school today. We can't post pictures of the students for security reasons which is too bad as there were some great costumes. I don't think there is any rule regarding the rights of pumpkins however so these should be acceptable to the powers that be. We had a pumpkin carving contest contest and I snapped off a few shots of my favourites.

Thanks Jer,

Every now and then I get a little wood on the ball.

They were sitting on a black stage with a black curtain behind them.

This along with the normal light in the cafeteria makes them look like they are floatiing - sort of. It was kind of an eerie effect which seemed appropriate given the day.

Thanks Bob,

They were even more creative with their costumes. I passed those on the the yearbook guy. I'd like to post them but for the sake of the kid's safety we can't and rightly so. Sadly, such are the times we live in.

Tom, we're in Pahrump now, several small casinos and one of them is having a "Safe Halloween" night for the kids and I inquired with security about taking photos of the kids and they told me no way, it wouldn't be right to do that, times have changed for sure.

Yeah it's a shame Bob.

Remember when we were kids it was safe to go out and soap car windows.

Not that we would indulge in such vice of course. What have we come to?

Thanks Rob.

I kind of like #3 "The Scream" as I like to call it.
