hey all
i have a great job which affords me travel to all sorts of places, including remote ones. for the past week i was lucky enough to be spending time with a client in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory, Australia. This is a reasonably remote place, and about 115km south are the
Devil's Marbles (Karlu Karlu to the locals). I had flown in to Alice Springs and picked up a hire car to drive the 500-odd kilometres north to Tennant. I got to the marbles with some great sun - not quite golden hour, but close enough to it; then i lost the sun to cloud cover (as you'll notice in the shots). The site itself was massive, and as it was i was jogging from spot to spot to try and get shots before the sun disappeared. next time i am going to allow myself a couple of hours to do it all properly!
C&C welcome.

I'm really happy with 8, 9, and 10 because they needed some serious rescuing in post and turned out pretty well.
I know there isn't really anything in the photos to give you an idea of the size of them, but for example, the fat stack in
11,
13, and
16 was easily as big as a four storey building.

This is
almost the only right turn of note on the drive from Alice to Darwin. In fact, maybe from Adelaide to Darwin! The spot is, unsurprisingly, called "Three Ways" (via phone)
That's fine, but they're now longer than this... (via phone)
