Down here in California we didn't really have a winter, spring started early and now we're having summer temperatures. Looks like July and August are gonna be killers and now in the SF Bay Area we are being required to cut our water usage.
Might have to come and hang out up there with you if it gets too hot.
Nice shots Dave even though I don't eat beef.

Well done Dave! You have earnt that....the only improvement I could offer would be a bottle of McLaren Vale Shiraz.

Thanks Gary - yeah I know Bay area pretty good usually getting there once or twice a year. You are welcome here anytime , I need an excuse to head to the mountains. I was supposed to head to Redwood City in July but that got cancelled. I am amazed how San Fran can be 60 and 20 miles inland it is 90. I respect your decision to not eat beef - me I am definitely a carnivore.

Thanks Grant yeah it was a loooooooong winter this year even with me escaping two weeks of it. My wife would agree with you on the improvement and I am ok with that - given the choice though as well as being a carnivore I also prefer the barley and hops liquid

Thanks Simon I remember that post - you had a much bigger variety of meat on that I have This was just for the wife and I as the kids are off camping (long weekend here) so we could afford to splurge on some good steaks

Those steaks look like the ones my wife and I had last night. Imowed the yard also and it took me 3 hours to do the yard (5 big black trash bags full) and edge the flower beds. I had planned to mow it last Sunday, but that was the day we got 4"+ of rain!

Congrats, Dave - I know you guys have had a long winter.

I'm happy to see that you're putting first-things-first and getting right down to the meat of the matter (sorry).

Thanks Tom - rained here this morning - cloudy and windy now - yesterday was a good day to get it done glad I did. I raked the yard a few weeks ago by hand (2 bags) - had it power raked & airated this week (3 more bags) and cut yesterday (1 bag ) all bags now sitting in the driveay waiting for the county to pick'em up and head to be composted.
