what a creative use of burn out....I wonder if you need that partial blue at all...would love to see this in bw

It works better in color for me. How much PP was involved here? The scene is impressive enough that I feel even a more 'natural' look would work.

nice one, but this is over exposed, i think if increase one stop of exposure it will better

I don't see blowout as a problem here, it conveys nicely the harsh summer sun. BTW, as of last weekend, summer is finally over in Cyprus.

je ne sais pas comment dire en anglais, mon anglais n'est pas très bon, alors ma réponse sera postée en français, désolée (tous à vos traducteurs)... La photo couleur est naturelle et brute, sortie directement de mon boitier, juste convertie en Jpeg, prise à côté de chez moi dans le sud ouest de la france à Seignosse face à l'océan. J'avais le soleil en face sur le côté. Avec matériel boitier K-7, objectif 16-50, filtre variable ND2-400, et en réglage iso 100, focale 22, 4 secondes, télécommande et trépied. Logiquement vous devez avoir accès aux exifs de la photo. Merci à toutes et à tous pour vos messages, ça fait plaisirs.

I have rarely seen such a good use of burnout. I don't know if it was intentional but it makes for a great shot, probably my favorite for today. I like the B&W version better.

That's a fitting title! What a great shot of what I'm assuming used to be a dock or pier of some sort. Would be rad if you could catch the sun (or moon!) rising or setting between the farthest pylons.
