I was shocked that for my second day with experimenting with my Macro filter, that I could capture such a beautiful shot!

careful with that purple fringing...you may want to experiment with a longer lens....or finding a good macro lens sigma makes some reasonably priced ones...look through the lens reviews...third party lenses...you have an eye for macro keep going with it....

Thanks for the tips! I have another lens but I need a K-mount b4 I can use it. The lens is a 45X Macro, and I can use my Macro filter with it to get some really close-up shots...I can hardly wait!

until then, what I do is instead of getting so close like you are doing, back off a couple of inches and take your photo from there. It might not seem like you are getting close but you will have a image that is in better focus. you can then later crop the image a little to get the closeness you want. That is what I do and I use a macro lens, the important thing is to keep shootin' and experimenting, glad you are on the forum and sharing your work with us.
