Photo I made near the town of Rzhev, namely there were fierce battles with German troops. This place has been name - " Rzhev salient."
Veterans - these are the people who have very little, but that we have to remember - these are people who are very much gone!

This restoration of the historic battle, veterans were there guests

There's certainly some very decorated men there, lets hope that their stories are all well documented "Lest we forget".

As beautiful as all the macro and landscapes are on this site...the power and depth that is displayed in these group photos is incomparable....the pride and strength and character of these men is deep and priceless. The contrast between the young actors and the old veterans is striking....
