I like the framing, as well. My Tamron 17-50 does a pretty good job handling flare, but it gets me sometimes, too.

one of my other hobbies is 3d graphic rendering.
Let me tell you that these programs put a big effort to simulate accurate realistic lens errors which does occure normally on cheaper lenses.
photographers put a lot of money for not having them, i think that's total crazy,
i don't want to say that lens flares are good in all pictures, i also try to avoid them, but in sometimes i like them. they give some pictures a little more feeling.
i can live with this little imperfections.

Agreed. I don't think it spoils your image. I also think it looks better being left in, than some of the efforts I've seen trying to remove it (when it isn't just in open space). Better to leave well enough alone

I am surprised the Tamron performs fairly well on the k3....I was just thinking that the k3 shows up optical flaws more clearly then the same lens on the k5 because of the 24mp....but the Tamron is reasonably sharp in this wide shot......
