I finally made it to Valley of Fire in Nevada, after seeing so many posts from there on this site. If you're ever near Las Vegas, this is well worth a day trip.
Here are a few shots.

First one is fantastic... the slanted perspective makes the picture very dynamic.
Colors are the same as other pictures of the area, that is to say marvellous...
You also were lucky to find some beautiful wispy clouds!

That first shot is great, sure its a beautiful scene, but the plane and contrails adds that second element.

Thanks LensBeginner. The clouds were really pretty cool. I suspect there are usually not very many clouds in this area.

Thanks phoenixvision. This spot is a real jewel, a hidden treasure. Are they really cloud seeding? I didn't know it went on at such a scale in the desert. I just assumed it was a commercial jet.

It is, and we only had about 4 hours. Would love to go back again. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks, got some good timing on that one, perfect time of day, late afternoon.

Thanks Bob, I think I heard about this place from you. I had visited Red Rock west of Las Vegas and sort of lumped these two parks together in my mind, not realizing they were separate.

Thanks flavio... the blue was very deep out in the desert. I got the extra intensity from using a polarizer, and didn't add much at all in PP.

Thanks Rob! Agreed, I always like that extra touch in landscapes.
