Space man in post-apocalyptic world (or just a dude going for a stroll :D )

I submitted this photo to the exclusive gallery some time ago. It got rejected, but I would love to show it to a slightly bigger audience and maybe get some more feedback. I think there is something about this photo, the sharp landscape, sunset colours, and the man in his black outfit, trudging on against the direct sunset light.

The sky is it smoke haze or a mist. Would be a great print in a large size.

Ah, the sky is actually the Alps covered in clouds, so not many of the peaks can be seen through the layers of clouds! And it was a warm day, so there is mist above the sea and a cold wind coming in towards the land. There are also sails of windsurfers in the background. It was a damp evening, but with enough wind for the surfers to enjoy

What lovely colours and light, not to mention an inventive title!

you have a decent shot, but technically, I think it would be better watched if a man is more closely favorable to the edge - went a few more steps and then you would have made the shot

Ah, yes. Maybe! I didn't want him to look like he was running off the frame, but good point

I agree there is something special about this photo...the lighting throughout s so well abalnces and interesting...it is perfect on the spaceman for example....the contrast between the blues and yellows is really well done, and not only by your adding contrast in post, but in the photo to begin with....all around it is a very attractive composition with the lines of light and color that wind through it.....I like the position of the man...but that is personal of course...and the title drew me here in the first place!
