Death in the kitchen

This photo was taken for a low key photography contest with the theme 'Disturbed'.

Added the blood with some photoshop love.

Actually, quite a nice image. A little bit Alfred Hitchcock. How did you go in the contest, Stefan?

Thanks Steve . The contest hasn't finished yet, and the only prize is the ability to pick the next subject, so it's not a huge deal. I don't have much hope of winning though, as someone posted a photo of skinned seals.... yes you heard right...skinned seals. That's quite a bit more disturbing than my photo.

Very distrubing - a scene from a Hitchcock movie indeed. Good luck in the contest.

With all this Alfred Hitchcock talk it's got me thinking about black and white / selective coloring now....... something to play with anyway. Thanks again

Super thought with this shot. Really makes you want to look around the corner - but not if you know what I mean. I personally feel that the colour one is the pick - maybe becasue it shows up the 'sauce' better. Brilliant idea but!

I think that technique is such a complete cliche. Better stick with the original IMO.
