Murder Mystery for a rainy Sunday
Posted By: Workingdog, 05-18-2008, 08:28 AM

Authorities are seeking your help in solving the brutal murder of Mr. Peter Cottontail. Mr. Cottontail, aged approximately 40 years was found viscously de-stuffed on the floor of his bedroom in the house he shared with his two faithful German Shepherd Dogs. There was no evidence of a struggle or forced entry indicating that Mr. Cottontail may have known his attacker. The crime scene photos are not suitable for younger viewers.
What kind of “animal” could have done something like this.

Have they 'collared' the wrong suspect? The cat is ignoring all questions or an opportunity to explain his actions on that day.

This thread has freaked me out... not because of the content, but because it has given me the most intense feeling of deja vu.

As to the photos... I think the first one is actually very good. Would like to see more obvious signs of death. Perhaps some stuffing on the carpet.

Poor Mr Cotton Tail, his passing was a CATastrophe? He may have been able to fend off the attacker if he had not allowed himself to go to the dogs and kept in better physical condition.

The very first photo is also my favorite. It has that "crime scene" vibe going on.
I started this thread as something to do on a rainy Sunday here in PA and it turned out to be fun for all.

The true story of the demise of Mr. Peter Cottontail is a sad one, indeed. He is really in the neighborhood of 45 years old and was my favorite stuffed toy at age 2-3. My mother who is no longer with us saved him and kept him safe for all those years. After a very short time in my stewardship a few years ago he fell victim to our then young puppy after he toppled from a shelf onto the floor (possibly due to his poor muscle tone). Of course, it was not the puppy's fault and there was no retribution. And so, the "crime scene" was staged as many of you guessed.

I am hoping to find someone in my neck of the woods who can restore Pete and make him whole again. If anyone has any suggestions in this regard please feel free to send me a PM.
