Long time user of this forum. I come here for all my photography advice for my Pentax shooting needs.

This photo was not taken with my Pentax, but my new iPhone 6.
I had no intention of taking anything other than a quick snapshot of my son getting a haircut.
The nostalgia of the locale, the perfect subdued lighting just gave me chills when I took took it off my phone.
Thought I would share it with you all here.

No filter, straight from my iPhone with a square crop.

the phone wrks well with even lighting, the mirror and the general focus....theres no need for it to be sharp or for any depth of field...too bad you didnt have your pentax though...nice photo op....

Thanks. Yeah...had no intention of taking photos when I showed up at this location...just getting a haircut for my boy. Such a cool out of the way place.

Your son does not look to impressed with the procedure, like lots of kids, I was one never liked the barbers as child. Fine shot (cough) for a iPhone.

Nice story with the photo. And yep, I also noticed the expression is not very happy. Kids will be kids!
