Love in the mist

Very nice indeed, good lighting and sharp focus and the colour is very subtle.

Looks like a drawing ! I love the grain... but I would not cut (crop) the leaves below...

Very difficult to add anything to this photo it is such a unique capture and perspective, subtle excellent use of color, the background is very effective, the lighting is perfect...perhaps if you didnt already I would play with a whole series of framing options including diagonals...and experiment with perspective, but this is a real beauty...

Me eaither they were in frame in the view finder honestly (am adverse to live view don't know why) but I'd agree it is the only llet down I have with this pic personally

Yeah that is just too bad when we realize that afterward... I learned that it is better take a bit wider and crop in PP than not able to do it .... especially with the K-3, there is enough resolution to allow this most of the times.

Exactly. Let the stalk be the only element existing the frame. It's a powerful, stark, composition used to frame a delicate beautiful subject. Contrast in both image and idea. It's worth shooting again to get the composition perfect.

Terrific, sure you didn't photograph a drawing? Never though about doing high key flowers before!
