Rainy day with the Bigma.
Posted By: charliezap, 11-06-2014, 11:49 AM

I'm stuck in the home today on this dark rainy day with the floor installer so I decided to make the best of it while on the laptop. The first 2 shots are from 6 ft distance with the Bigma. The last 2 I played with the "Filters" in the K5.All in all it isn't a bad day.--charliezap

The effect was done solely by the on board filter (pastel) with the K5.The data on the shot is 1/125 sec--f/6.3--ISO 800 at 290 mm.Here is the original shot.--charliezap

I got to give the birds all the credit. They are around quite a bit and it does make it easier to "capture" them.--charliezap

Very nice stuff, Capn. The second one, in particular, is a marvel.
+1 on that thought

I'm usually not a fan of a lot of the filters, but the fifth image works really well.

Thanks Marc. Sometimes the filters make a decent picture from a so-so shot. They are fun to try out and experiment with.--charliezap
