Thank you. Yes, it was quite an intense game. They're 11 years old.

Yeah, 11 was the first wave of when the game got serious for most of my son's teammates. The second wave seems to be the beginning of high school at 14 & 15--the kids who play really want to at the exclusion of other sports. Unfortunately for some, as these boys grow into their manly bodies it becomes more apparent who is going to thrive and who is just getting by as the competition becomes more severe. Speed, leg strength, and game awareness I can perceive from (taking and) looking at so many photos.

You're absolutely right. Already at this age, the difference between the better teams and the others are quite noticeable. And some kids are just miles ahead of the others in development.

Hi Mark, nice action and intensity in the shot. I presume one of yours?? They grow up quickly. My youngest is finishing at Elkanah this year and then on to Univ we hope.

Keep well and regards from this side.

Hi Kevin
No, neither are mine, but my kid played in the same tournament.

Now, as for small, small world:
I presume Elkanah now has High School? When we were living in Blouberg Sands they were Pre-School only.
No, if you stand in front of the Pre-School, and you look directly to the left, at no 13C - That was our first house! (We had it built new)

Kind regards,
Mark

Would be cool to maybe stack the series and see how that turns out. I'm working on one of those right now; they look really sweet when done correctly.
