The unruly angel
Lens: Pentax-M 50mm f/1.7 Camera: K100D Super Photo Location: Florence

In the facade of the Duomo in Florence there's this panel, portraying an angel in a pose which is curious to say the least...
It has been variously interpreted as 1. being ill at ease in the confined space of the marble 2.telling passersby to f... off ( ) or 3. being the guardian angel of sodomites.
Whatever the explanation, it's a fun picture to take!

I'm not a big fan of "vintage at all costs", and in this case I believe that color doesn't distract/B&W doesn't add much to the image, however I experimented following your suggestions (see below).

It was nearly SOOC, so couldn't recover the left pillar... I tried the opposite, that is cropping even more asymmetrically, in order to put the head of the angel in or near a third.
I'll probably redo this photo sometime in the future, and maybe even try a square crop.
Thanks for your suggestions!

Thank you very much!
It seems that bnw version is more volumetric, and crop really gave balance to the picture... In my opinion, of course.
