Chickadees on the move...
Lens: Vivatar M135 - Sigma 70 Camera: K-3 Photo Location: My back yard
Posted By: normhead, 11-07-2014, 08:51 AM

To bump my shutter speed up, I decided I need ƒ2.8 for a while, The longest ƒ2.8 lens in the house is my wife's Vivatar M-135. No camera can track a Chickadee in flight anyway, so the M thing worked out just fine.

The first 3 images with the Vivatar... @ ƒ2.8 and shutter speed close to /1000

The last one with the Sigma 70 2.8 macro.. @ ƒ4 and 1/5000. The sun has gone behind a cloud now, so I guess that's it for today.

Ya, I think that's what I got from 600 images, it's amazing how often they wait until my buffer is full, then take off.
