Neither do I...
My road bike has a paddle+thumb shifter and I agree that modern tech it's really convenient...
But there's no contest between my plastic levers and those things of beauty, aesthetically speaking...

This. The few scratches and nicks my plastic shifters have accumulated just don't have the same character that a good coat of rust can offer.
