Thanks a lot!
It's easy to make sunset-time shots, you only need to find where to point the camera, and do not forget to take off the lens cap

Maybe that's the reason for which I always finish with 90% of my shots totally black?!

Excellent! You could even do a crop of just the top bird and make a superb image, the feathers really set it off.
