You sure get around! Great shot, what's the story here?

Well, these guys are just waiting for tourists. Intersting is why the tourists are there. There is an ancient tomb on the top of the mountain (peak is about about 50 m higher). You can see many ancient statues there. And the mountain Nemrut Dagi is more than 2000 m high and really in the middle of nowhere.

I definitely wasn't expecting to hear this place is a tourist trap! What a great shot! What's the river in the background?

Most probably Euphrates, one of the two rivers of ancient Mesopotamia
