Forest in Beskidy mountains infrared image

The forest is really strange. Interesting photo.

What are these trees?

These are spruces. The forest is on slope, so you see high trees (tranks mainly) and the young ones. Majority of the older trees were dead because of some pests at some point of time.

To be honest I didn't notice it was infrared when I saw the picture. I was thinking it was just bw + some edit. Anyway, it is very nice!
