Excellent, I've caught a lot of trout out that river and its tribs but haven't "shot" it yet. Easily one of the most "picture dense" parts of the Park, though, with everything from signs of human habitation to old growth forest.


A question: how do you like your FA24 for landscape shots? Some seem to lump it in with the FA43 as a "diva" lens best suited to portraits, but it really seems to bring a lot to the table.

Is this HDR or did you manually bracket?

nice post with difficult light coming through the top.....that 24mm really allows you to bring out the colors and create an image that feels more like a painting than a photo....beautiful capture....

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. This is not HDR and I usually bracket until I get the exposure that I think is best. As to the FA 24,I have read some good and bad comments about the lens but in real life it does just fine as a lens. It is fast but a little heavy not a compact lens.
