A Old Wagon
Lens: Pentax F 35-70mm Camera: Pentax K30 Photo Location: Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia
Posted By: jasphotoart, 11-09-2014, 05:39 PM

Hi, I recently acquired a Pentax F 35-70mm and am really enjoying the quality of the images that it is producing.

My family and I spent the weekend in Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia. We were going to be seeing the Stones in concert but to our dismay they cancelled, apparently Mick had a sore throat. We decided to still enjoy what we could of the weekend and I took the opportunity to get some shots in.

This is one of a old wagon that was outside of the place where we were staying, which was a old coach house that has been converted into a bed and breakfast type accommodation, a beautiful old place. Anyways this one has stood out to me as I feel it has a sort of 3D look to it. I processed in PS and did a B&W conversion using Nik Silver Effects.

I am still working through the rest of my images and hopefully I have some more good ones.

Cheers

Jason

Nice shot Jason! I'm particularly fond of my Pentax 35-70mm. Looks like a very nice crisp shot you have there!

Maybe try up the contrast a little and burn the house so that it is darker in Photoshop. But great shot.
