After a strong shower

Very strange shot....if you hadnt said after a strong shower in the comments, I would never put the brightly lit low lying clouds down to that....it feels more like fire than the aftermath of shoers...and there is a kind of haze in the air, wher you would think the showers would bring clarity What time of day was this?

It was very hot, and the humidity immediately started evaporating, hence the haze & the mist.

I believe this was taken in the late afternoon or early evening.

I can feel the heat now looking at this photo...I can imagne your enthusiam and excitement wheny you spotted this anomaly....and ran for your Pentax.....Italy, yes?
