Every once in a while, a photo will come along that has something special, not in it's artistic qualities, but in the subject. This photo was one of those for me. This young lady was at the Veteran's Day Parade this past Saturday and she looked so refreshing, so adorable, with her little puppy safely tucked away in her sweater. I asked for, and was given permission to take her picture. It wasn't until after coming home and downloading it that I realized what a special photo it was. I've seldom seen such innocence and beauty. Her smile was so genuine, her grooming was impeccable, her demeanor was wonderful and the little puppy was the perfect compliment to the entire encounter. I have a difficult time putting into words just how charming.... how enchanting this picture is to me. And, as if that wasn't enough, she smelled of Gardenias!
