Landscape Floating in the fog

Hi all.

I was driving through this area everyday going to work and had noticed that it produced some wonderful morning fog. After all it is a dried out lake bed and that helps.

So one day i headed over there with camera in hand and i was lucky enough to catch the small village of Vouno (Vouno means...mountain in Greek

) seemingly floating above the morning fog.

PS : Don't know why but Exif shows the lens as a Sigma but it really is a Tamron 70-300 LD from my analog days.

Thanks. No it is Arcadia region Greece just outside the city of Tripoli.

It's nice grabbing that landscape with the long lens too...and I love the way you kept the low light in the mist and mountans, very subtle.....

Thanks. I shot some pics before sunrise but when first light broke out, i was mystified by the view and before long, i was racing up and down a road to find the right spot to frame this little hill. And without a tripod. Ever since i never leave it behind
