Passiflora of my backyard
Posted By: Jean Poitiers, 11-14-2014, 04:22 AM

Bonjour,

Here's another projector lens that I removed form the majority from its plastic casing ...

Later I incorporated this lens into a Helios 44-2 body in order to have an aperture.

Salut, J

Plus, you will note that I do not show off my (few) failed experiments ... ha! J

I'm sure that are just few...thousands!
Jokes apart, I was thinking that you'd spend much more time preparing lenses.

Your lens experiments are great, I hope one day your research would be used commercially.

Great job Jean, I like it. Passiflora flower it's hard to focus correctly in macro.
I shot this one last summer. I used an MIR 1B inverted on my old Pentax K2. Digitalization is not perfect, what do you think about?

Thanks and nice image. I need to work on my lens a bit more to get some more DOF ... maybe even use with an extreme bellows extension to get a macro like yours. J
