Hot day for wallabies
Lens: FA 50/f1.4 Camera: K-01 Photo Location: Mosquito Creek, Australia

It's hot today - 43C (or 109F) and it hasn't peaked yet. I am working in my machinery shed swearing at the ignition timing on my Suzuki. The wallabies are not moving out of the shade. These are just snaps. I didn't have time to play around. The nearest wallaby is about 5 feet from the back of the Suzuki.

"Sittin' on my tail" - and resting against the trailer jockey wheel. Note the feet and tail hanging out of the pouch of the female at the back. It must be hot in that pouch.

"Might as well lie down. He's not gonna have that thing sorted any time soon."

They seem very friendly and unafraid.....but there is a twinkle of mischief in their gaze....Are they looking for something besides shade?

Not expecting anything. They are just fairly quiet and reluctant to move because of the heat. There are lots of kangaroos and wallabies hanging around home at the moment (and more than enough out in the paddocks too).
