Thank you Vagrant, glad you liked it, it was an awesome setting.

"hot" pixel hint: first photo, left of screen. But as I said, look, then look again.

Is it in the water? I thought I saw 5 or 6 hot pixels, but soon realized I have a very dirty monitor (at work).

Hi Tom,
Firstly I apologise for my slightly twisted sense of humour....I was somewhat dismayed at returning to the forum after a three week absence to see the hot pixel rant taking headline status.

My reference is to the red dot at the bottom of the dark(er) bush/shrub bottom left of first photo....its a red cap being worn by a person seated on a bench, with just their head appearing. Although I must admit that when I first saw it in RAW I very quickly zoomed in thinking ....OH NO!!!!

Its only a cap....but thanks for looking.

Cheers
Grant

Magnificent once again - which one of the 1.5 million lakes is that one?

Thanks people.
Your prize J.Scott ? a fully paid trip to New Zealand of course. (paid for by J.Scott)
Fula6, it is between Queenstown & the Cardona road to Wanaka turn off, I think Arrowtown. It was absolutely beautiful, serene etc etc etc etc etc etc.
Hi Dave, the camera is good, very good. I certainly have not seen any hot pixels. You just gotta wonder at some of these claims.
Here's a couple more from the same spot, different aspect. These are simply converted in Lightroom.

Cheers
Grant
