agree with @Dewman on the muted colors. Part of me wonders whether it would be a better shot if you angled the board a bit (or a bit more than it is currently angled), as this might give more depth to the image.

Maybe you should start a "Still Life Club", Na? I'd be happy to be one of the members! We now have a Flower Club... why not? That would open up a lot of new roads. We could have Mizar as our mentor!

That's a great idea, but I don't have good enough still life photos to start with!
