Horse in the marshes

I couldn't find the way across the stream to do any portrait work on this horse, but watching him graze....wasn't such a bad shot after all.....grateful to have a beautiful day and the time to grab this....

You already have the portrait of that gray horse, it's good to see a little variety!
I can see a bit on that horse... so this must be near a stable of sorts?

Wonderful shot! I had a similar situation with horses in a marsh recently, but couldn't get close enough and I wasn't interesting enough for them to look at me

There are a couple of small horse riding centers in the area...more and more keep springing up actually...

This one watched me more than I watched him...throughout my morning excercises.....1

lots to view here, the mountains really add to the scene.

Its nice to get the animal integrated into the scene, instead of just a close-up on the animal itself.

Agreed....I'm starting to realize, generally taking what's given, rather than sticking to expectations, reveals the true jewel....thanks for stopping in and for you comments....
