Even Weeds.......

Very nice! The background looks like a kaleidoscope. Very interesting that each petal has exactly five separations on the end.

I'm not a fan of busy backgrounds, normally. But this just seems to work - I agree it's because of the kaleidoscope effect. Weeds are great subjects, so much more subtle and interesting than their brash garden cultivar cousins.

That is a fantastic image. It makes me think I need a dedicated macro lens...

Wildflowers are great subjects. Don't think of them as weeds, most are native plants - many are important to the ecosystem and great photographic subjects.

Your image is great. Did you use a flash, or is this sunlight?
