Hi all

These are showing some insects on a plant we Greeks call "Donkey's thorns"

We would call them thistles, do donkeys eat them?

Yes they do. I think it's because they have a pretty thick tongue that allows them to do that.

Nice bumblebees! Thistles of several species are popular insect food here in the US too - though some of the thistles are invasive species, unfortunately.
