Its a really nice shot! The silhouette does add to the photo. Maybe if you want to emphasize the person, you can try a 16:9 crop.

I see what you mean, but somehow, I like the walker, really tiny like that, he still reads clear against the Sea, and the proportion gives a feeling....I think...of the size of the landscape,,,the little man, and the thin shoreline disappearing into the distance....although maybe 16 9 would brng that out as well....I will look at it...thanks!

I like the size as is, you look deep into the photo to see the person in solitude.

Thanks, I was feeling that, even if it was a happy accident that he was in the photo in the first place!

These skies lately have been very dramatic....clear air, but multi-textured clouds...

Yeah i hear you. You're so lucky to experience such great sunsets. For us over here Mt.Taygetus limits the western horizon and we rarely see any dramatic sunset...

You should definitely make a trip to the island this Spring or summer...The amazing thing is no two are the same.....I have learned more about the sun and its movements since have been here...I can tell the daate by where the sun is in the sky practically...I see so many!! not many sunrises though......
