Fly on flower

it didn't sat still for long.

I had everything ready, because that flower was full with insects. All I had to do was a bit of focusing with a rail focuser and maybe a slight movement of the tripods head - that goes quickly. The 3s delay of the remote was a bigger problem. Luckily that fly decided to have some time and clean itself... So, maybe 5 seconds from, 'yes, this is great' to 'yes, got it'!

another one of that fly, with some better details of its 'mouth', sadly the rest of the head was worse - plus the red eyed bugger from the background.

Thanks a lot. Old lenses do have their good sides - but focusing without a focusing screen can be hard sometimes. In related news, I know what I am going to buy next....

you are right, in macro, the subject is in center and fills all the frame anyway
