Beach Birds
Lens: DA* 60-250 Camera: K5IIs Photo Location: Casa MelRay, Playa Potrero, Costa Rica

The first morning on the beach went for a little walk about and found these - good gawd I could live there.

I think it's incredible that you got so close to those birds. From my experience they would spot me from far away and fly out before i could get close enough for my 70-300.

Nice shots, definitely not in my reach, I am a little bit clumsy and noisy...

Great shots! There are several Blue Herons that hang out near our lake place but I've never gotten that close to them.

Thnaks takis63 I got a close as I could but not as close as I would have liked.

I have a feeling that one day you may live there Dave, maybe a reason for the trip? Oh btw, I was thinking ladies on the beach.
