First walk with new A 50mm 1.7
Lens: Pentax-A 50mm 1.7 Camera: K50 Photo Location: Reggio Emilia (Italy)

Finally I've got a prime!
These pictures were taken today, I've gone to test my first prime and manual focus lens.
I have really a lot to learn, I just wanted to share these few pictures.

As you can see, it was cloudy and a little foggy, definitely not a good light too... But I was waiting from a week to go out to test the lens, so I went!

Thank you very much, but they are not so good. I shared them in low resolution too, just because I wanted to share my "happiness".
I have bought this lens just because of this forum, because I was searching for a prime and almost all the advices were to take a 35mm new and a 50mm manual focus, because of my low budget.
Advices have been great as always!

Thank you!

To be honest I was not expecting this big difference compared with kit lens. Obviously it is faster, I knew it, but its quality is definitely much better!

Now you know why so many people here (including myself) consider this their favorite lens...

I was sure about the quality of that lens because of everyone here was talking good about it. What really surprised me is the difference compared with the other (cheap) lenses I have.
What I mean is that I saw a difference in my pictures without improving myself, that's really strange.
Now I need to learn and learn and shot...

They aren't red flowers, they are grapes plants, the leaves becomes that color in some varieties, before to start to fall.
