Mt.Parnon gold
Posted By: takis63, 11-23-2014, 06:58 AM

We had a beautiful morning in Mt.Parnon today with great lighting through the morning fog.

We did have to wake up early but we didn't regret it.

Towards to the sun
Thank you. The sun did render the chestnut trees beautifully!

You work great with fog! really nice! maybe you should consider writing a tutorial about it! its difficult to have the contrast and the focus while in fog! well done!

Thank you for your kind words.

I do like working in foggy conditions and i like it even better when the sun just breaks out, much like in this case. Shooting silhouettes against the sun, is something that i really like. It seems i obtain good results using f/8 to f/11 and working in apperture priority setting, with spotAF to control the focus point. In this occasion, conditions were changing rapidly and i had to be fast moving through the trees, trying to find the right composition. Luckily as it turned out, i got some good shots
